"It has been over us too long," he said, eyes on the road ahead. "It's gained a tactical advantage over us."

“—I see. Very interesting. Have you told Vastra about your plans, because the earth is very depended on the Moon, sweetheart.”

As the beast moved forward towards their location, Strax looked at the Professor, "I'm declaring war on the moon."

“Oooh, that sounds exciting. You have fun with that, darling. Can I ask what the moon has done to you for you to go to war against it?”

{Whoever send me an ask! Tumblr ate it! Send it again!}

"Alright, horse. Do your duty," Strax said to the creature picking up the reins. He glanced over at the woman again, "Madame Vastra will be pleased you came."

She laughed as he spoke to the horse, and rolled her eyes. “Will she? Good. I have to talk to her about some things.” She sighed, as she glanced over to him. “—but never mind that. How are you? How is Strax doing?”

“…Doctor? Darling is that you?” She asked, a smile peeking on her face. “What incarnation is this then?”

The Sontaran blinked but beckoned to the carriage, "Get in, Professor Song. It's not far from here."

River climbed aboard the carriage and sat beside him. “Lead the way, darling.”

He looks at her and squeezes her hand. “What!? River, come on. ‘Course i’ve shared a bed with someone…” He laughs nervously and bites his lip. “Well…” he sighs. “I’ve shared a bed with someone a long, long time ago. Almost 800 years to be precise.” He releases her hand so he can play with his fingers and he takes another deep sigh.

“But it’s just a bed, right?” He looks at her with a smile. “So, you say the bed is good, yeah? That’s good. I’d hate to have to go furniture shopping. To domestic for me.” He makes a face of disgust.

“—I’m sorry, I just didn’t know. You seem a bit clueless on this subject. I always assumed you did but—” She  smirked over at him, “never mind… Eight hundred years though? Wow.”

“It’s not just a bed, Doctor. —It is, but when you’re sharing it with someone, it becomes much more. You’ll learn.” She tapped her his nose, turning on her side to look at him. “And yes, the bed is fine. Why are you so worried about the bed?”
